Victoria Pearls claim third place at Kwibuka Women’s Cricket Memorial
The Victoria Pearls placed third at the just-concluded Kwibuka Women’s Cricket Memorial tournament in Kigali after beating hosts Rwanda in the playoff game by 20 runs. Esther Iloku was one of the star performers for the Victoria Pearls and hit a half-century in the morale-sapping defeat to Zimbabwe in the semifinals.
